2012

Only 1 post in 2011, that's pretty weak. I decided to look at my blog (which I've forgotten about for the past year) and make all the changes and updates to it.

Let's start with Levi (:

How cute is he?! That first one is my FAVORITE (: Let's see....Levi. He is 2 years old. He is obsessed with Despicable Me, Otter Pops, and toy cars. He loves to line the cars up, but if you take one out of line, you're gonna wish you hadn't. He certainly knows how to throw a tantrum.

Next to Finley...

Like I said, I've missed a lot of stuff. Last time I updated my blog, Finley wasn't even born yet. Now she's 6 months old. Um...she likes to eat. And sleep. And eat some more. I don't really know what else to say.

There's still a lot of baseball. I guess my mom prefers not to show Lincoln's face in these pictures. (:



Well, 7th grade has been pretty busy. I have pretty good teachers over all (could be better). I have a new obsession : ONE DIRECTION. I LOVE them <3!! And, um....we're doing a Civil War reanactment tomorrow at school. It's supposedly the biggest one in the state of Nevada?? Anyway, 6 hours of training (under the hot sun, of course) followed by 6 more hours of battle. There are real slingshot cannon things that fire water balloons. It should be ok, as long as we don't have to wear the uniforms. They're hot, itchy, and stinky :/. I can't believe 7th grade is already over. I'm ready for summer, though. I hope 8th grade turns out good...it doesn't really matter, because we're all gonna die this year anyway (: HAPPY 2012!!

A lot to catch up on.....

5 months. Wow. I haven't posted for 5 MONTHS! That's crazy! It would have been a lot longer if a certain friend (you know who you are) hadn't told me she checks my blog everyday for new posts!! YIKES! Anyway, I had a birthday. Levi had a birthday (1) and Brooklyn just had her birthday (7). I actually just got back from her birthday party. Well....let's see....school is still the same. Boring. I can just never seem to find anything to look forward to about it. I'm not really sure what happened to Volleyball Club....no one announced anything about it (if they did I didn't know). Last time a friend went to Volleyball Club and NO ONE WAS THERE. Well I guess volleyball is over for good then. I am just going to post some pictures that I missed the past 5 MONTHS...

Birthday

It's almost my birthday!! I'm sooo excited! It's this Tuesday, November 16. I hope we have lots of fun....LOTS of fun! Well I don't really know what else to say about it maybe I will post about it after my birthday actually HAPPENS..so anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! (and my mom her birthday was last Sunday :)

School

I haven't posted in like 2 months, but I hope to be able to more often. So, school has been OK the past couple of weeks.... I like it a lot better than elementary school, that's for sure! The food is way better, and we get more time of lunch and to talk in between classes. I signed up for Volleyball club, and our first practice is tomorrow!! SUPER EXCITED :D!! I don't have as much work as I thought I would.... but then again, it is only the beginning of the second month. I'm the fastest in my computers class, my top words per minute being 101!! CRAZY, RIGHT?! Well, that's just COMPUTERS. I still have math and reading and science and english and my elective, choir. At first I was really bummed when I got choir cuz I wanted Spanish/Drama, but now choir isn't that bad. You get to go to Disneyland in a few years :) I know the first day of school was a while ago but I kinda wanted pictures for this post, and I only have some from the first day. So here I am before I started my walk to school...

Yup..... that's me. Well, I don't really have anything else to say.... I hope I'll have to post more... maybe some more pictures.......... I don't know. Maybe :D

Summer

I know I said my next post would be about the 4th of July, but I'll just talk about it real quick. We did fireworks. We had fun. Ok, now to everything else. Well, I'm FINALLY out of school now, and so far - loving it!! I can't believe I'm a 6th grader now and I'm off to middle school! Anyway, I don't really have much planned for the summer, so we're just gonna do whatever we can, I guess. On Thursday we went to the YMCA with my cousins. It was pretty fun. Levi had lots of fun in the kiddy pool with my mom. And about a week ago we went camping up in Utah. My dad and 2 of my sisters slept in the tent by the car, and we slept across the road in a bigger tent by the creek! It was cool, but sometimes it got kinda scary at night by all the rushing water. We had tons of fun. The worst part for me? The BUGS. Ugh. I never knew how annoying they were until we went on that trip. So, pretty much besides the usual, I don't think we're gonna do much more this summer. I don't know. I hope this summer ROCKS!

School :P

So, most of you are all ready out of school. NOT ME. I am still in school, because I have year round. Lucky me, right?.......But, July 8 is my last day of school. FINALLY! I can't wait 'till I get out. So many projects and reports, assignments and essays, I'm DONE with school, okay? I don't really know why I posted, I guess because I haven't posted in a while,......IDK. It's probably because I'm soooo bored. Anyway, I hope school will pass quickly. Then I'm off to middle school. Yay!! Yet, at the same time, No!!! So, I predict my next post won't be until the 4th of July. We'll see!!

SeaCamp!!!

I've been waiting for SeaCamp for 3 YEARS and it just happened!! Last Friday-Sunday I was in San Diego with a bunch of my friends. The counselors were sooo nice. So here's what happened while we were there....



Friday:

I woke up at 6:00 and got my suitcase/beach bag. I had breakfast and my mom drove me to the school. I saw a bunch of my friends there and we waited excitedly for the bus. Finally, the bus got here and I said goodbye and got on. I sat next to Lindsey the first half of the ride (they figured out the seating at home) and then we stopped in Barstow for lunch. After that, I sat next to Loren and we drove some more until we got to the aquarium we were going to. We looked around and did a scavenger hunt....took some pictures.....messed around a little....stuff like that. When we were all done there we got on the bus and drove to SEACAMP!!! When we got there we went into our dorms, found bunks and put our stuff down. Then we ate dinner outside (BBQ) and got ready for our first class. My group (group A) went to the invertebrate lab first. We licked things, held things, and learned a lot. At the end of the class we got to dissect a squid!! After that we drew ink mustaches on our faces with the squid ink :) Then we went to bed.

Saturday:

We woke up. Ate breakfast. Then my group headed straight for the fish lab. We learned about lots of fish, and we looked around and did another scavenger hunt. We got to go into the "Staff Only" room and pet a Horn Shark!! We went back into the lab and dissected a fish....(very gross). Then we got in the SeaCamp vans and drove to Mission Point Bay, where we would be snorkeling. First we ate lunch, and then we got wetsuits on. Group A split into 2 groups (I know, more groups!) One would be snorkeling first and the other would be seining first. We chose snorkeling and we got on our masks, hoods, snorkels, etc. Soon we went snorkeling in the bay. We saw some fish, snails, Sea Sponge, but my favorite was a Brittle Star. They are really cool. After that we went to the beach to do seining, where we got a net and tried to get fish. We only got a couple, though. We went back to camp, took quick showers, and went on a boat. We saw Sea Lions and Sea Otters in the water. About halfway through the trip we threw a net down to follow us and see what we got. The first time we didn't catch a lot, and it was hard to see with the big crowd of kids. We only caught like 3 lobsters and some fish. The second time, I was smart to line up first because I was able to see some really cool things we caught!! We caught some more lobsters (of course) but then we caught 2 stingrays!! One was dead, though. But the coolest thing we caught that night was....an octopus!! I can't believe we caught an octopus. They took it back to SeaCamp to keep in the lab for the other groups. So then we went back to get off the boat. But right as we were getting off, we saw a dolphin!! (One of my favorite animals). It was very cool. Then of course we went back to camp and went to bed. (After seeing SeaWorld's fireworks from the SeaCamp gate!)

Sunday:

We woke up and packed the things we would need for the day/some of the stuff in our suitcase. We ate breakfast and we went to La Jolla Beach (La-Hoy-A) for boogie boarding. I was kinda scared because there were stingrays our there, but boogie boarding turned out to be my favorite part. It was super fun. Then we had lunch, and went tidepooling where we found a very gross fish head (it was big, too.) that had it's eye poked out, which is how we held it, we poked a stick through it's eye, and it's skeleton was still attached, and then the tail was too. So it was a normal fish, but it was missing an eye and a....middle. After that we went back, finished packing, and got on the bus, where I sat by Loren, because we both slept the first half. When I woke up we were about an hour away from Barstow where we would eat dinner, so I just watched the movie until we got there. I went with the group that was going to Subway, and it was gooooood. We were the first group back to the bus, so we had to wait for the kids from Panda Express and In-N-Out groups to get back, which took 45 minutes, cause all the Panda Express kids wanted milkshakes. Eventually we got on the bus and went home. Sea Camp was so much FUN!!!

So, I know this was a long post, but I really wanted to tell what I did at SeaCamp. I hope all my friends who went had a great time, too!

Ouch :'(

Well something really random happened yesterday. One of my friends told me I should post about it. So here I go....

I was on my way home from school, riding my scooter (usually I ride my bike, but that's not important). So there I was, coming out of the tunnel, when all of a sudden I felt this sharp pain in my shoulder. I swirved off to the side and grabbed my arm. I could still ride at first, but then another pan came again and made me drop my scooter, so I just stood there in the grass. Well, it hurt really bad, and I just kept feeling all these shocks happening around my shoulder, up by my sleeve, and they really stung. I wasn't trying to make a big deal about it, but apparently I didn't try as hard as I could've, because everyone came rushing over. Soon I had a crowd of kids around me. So, I grabbed my arm and I felt something. So sure enough, I looked down and saw a lump. I figured it was a thorn or a large splinter, but then something happened. It started buzzing like CRAZY. I looked down and lifted up my sleeve. Something flew out, and it looked like it could've been a fly - I only saw it for a second. But everyone else said it was a bee. And belive me, I started FREAKING OUT. How in the world did it get up my SLEEVE? I went home as fast as I could. When I got home, I ran up to my mom and she said, "Oh my gosh! Are you OK?! Let me look at it." So she looked. "Ooh...it looks like you got stung...1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8 TIMES!! Here follow me, we'll put this and this and this on it..." Blah blah blah you know what I mean. So, that's how my day was. Sorry, I know this was a long story. But I love to talk and tell stories, and write them too. So....yeah.

Stuff

I didn't know what to call this post. But we've been doing lots of stuff lately, I decided to call it "stuff". So....here's some of the "stuff" I've done...


Easter was fun. We did lots of stuff. First of all, we went to a birthday party the day before Easter. It was AWESOME - even if it was for a two-year old. They had a clown come and do face painting and balloons! They also had a bouncy house, a swingset, and a pool. IN A HUGE BACKYARD!! We did an Easter Egg hunt too. There were a few golden eggs that had money in them. Of course, my brother found one.

Grrr!!! I was gonna post pictures, but for some reason it's not working. Maybe they'll work later...

Also, we went to Town Square Mall with my cousins. That place is AWESOME!! If you've never been there, you should go. In the center, they have the BEST kid's place ever!!There's real buildings with real levels to them and there's a tree house, a real maze like with a grass wall (the fake grass), a play theater with a stage, and well I could go on forever!! Anyway sorry I don't have pictures... maybe I can post them when we can get it working....

Baby Levi....again.

This is my baby brother Levi. He is sooo cute!!

Baby Levi

I haven't posted in a while, but I decided I should since on Wednesday something very special happened. I got a baby brother!! Well, I already have one, but he's 7, although he still acts like a baby. Lincoln (my 7 year old brother) finally has a brother! He is right in the middle of 4 girls - 2 older and 2 younger sisters. Levi is soooo cute! He and my mom are coming home from the hospital sometime today. It was supposed to be like 6 hours ago, but the doctor didn't show up. So...we're just waiting. When we get the pictures downloaded I'll post pictures of him!! :D

Christmas

I got TONS of fun things for Christmas. I got 3 video games, a scooter, notebooks and folders (including mechanical pencils), and clothes. LOTS of clothes! I also got a green digital watch from my 3 year old sister Diddy (her real name is Dylan but we call her Diddy) but of course, she told me what it was as soon as she bought it. Anyway, as soon as we get the Christmas pictures up on the computer I'll probably post them. Maybe, maybe not. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Cancun, Mexico

I just got back from Cancun, Mexico! It was so much fun. We stayed for a whole 3 weeks, but my cousins Hailey and Westley only got to stay for a week because they still had school. So here's what happened on my trip:

• We saw New Moon at the outdoor mall, Laisla


• We went to Wet n' Wild water park with Hailey and Westley which was sooo much fun.


• After the rest of the family went back home we went to Chocolate City and we had a blast in the kid's area (it had the whole 2nd floor and a movie theater!)


• Also at Laisla, we did the Bungy on the trampoline and we went so high in the air.


• Happy hour by the pool with Pina Coladas
• Jumping the waves in the ocean

And lots of other fun things! I had soo much fun, but now we get to decorate for Christmas! Yay!

Happy Birthday to Me....

Today is my birthday! I turned 11. My Dad came and took me out of school early today so we went to Cici's pizza for lunch. Cici's is 1 of my favorite places. Also, the Original Pancake House, but we're going there for dinner later tonight :) When I showed up at school, all my friends ran up to me and gave me these presents and cards. I got green nail polish (green is my favorite color), some earrings, and a green crayon eraser. My mom was actually going to buy me some new earrings, but now she doesn't have to! I can't have a real party cuz we're going to Cancun, Mexico for 3 weeks. We leave on Friday. So...happy birthday....me!

Halloween

Yay! I finally have a blog! So for my first post I wanted to write about my Halloween. I was NOT a troll, I was NOT an elf, and I most definitly was NOT Santa. I was the Travelocity Gnome, thank you very much. No one knew who I was, but my family thought it was a pretty funny costume anyway.

I wasn't feeling too good the week before Halloween, but I was sure I could trick-or-treat. I half did. I went up about 2 streets, then had to leave to go back home. I ended up sitting in front of the house passing out candy with Indy, my dog. Anytime someone said "Trick-or-treat!", he would think they were offering him a treat, and he would stand up on the gate, eye-balling them as they left. On the bright side, I got to take whatever candy I wanted out of our own bucket.

By the way, today's my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday Mom! :)
